Here I have a Google Nexus 7 tablet that wasn’t charging at all and just needed a replacement charging port flex cable. First i had to remove the back cover and take out the battery. Also it doesn’t show on the pictures but a copper shielding after removing the battery.
Next i needed to unscrew the speakers that were on top of the charger port in question.
After the the speakers are removed I could unscrew the charger port which is also the Audio jack in one flex cable.
Last I put the new charger port & audio jack flex cable in and put it all back together, in the last picture you’ll see the battery symbol showing it’s charging.
